LUDOX® DF is an aqueous dispersion of colloidal silica with a 12 nm particle size. It was designed to add friction to anti-slip floor coatings.
LUDOX® DF is an alkaline, aqueous dispersion containing 39% silica. It was formulated specifically to be used as a friction aid in anti-slip floor coatings. Because of it's relatively low particle size (12 nm) it can provide added friction without effecting the clarity of a floor finish. This is especially useful in coatings and finishes for gymnasiums, schools, hospitals, dance floors, and theaters.
